The Alcove Restaurant was first established in the City Centre, Dar es Salaam in 1987. Since then, it has become a popular restaurant, serving Indian and Chinese cuisine. We are well known for our delicacies from the North West Frontier of India. Our specialties include succulent meats and seafood from the Tandoor, (Indian Clay Oven), marinated with our Master Chef's special herbs and spices then Char Grilled to perfection.
Due to the rising popularity and demand for Fusion Cuisine, we opened our doors with a second branch, located at Sea Cliff Hotel, serving and delighting a wider audience.
